Dr. Starks is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery related to the eye and surrounding structures. Dr. Starks earned her medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern, completed her internship in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and her residency at University of Texas Southwestern, where she was Chief Resident of Quality Improvement.

Dr. Starks completed her fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. During this time, she was a course instructor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and lecturer to residents at Boston Medical Center and Mass Eye and Ear. She also traveled to Uganda as an MEEI Global Surgery and Health Fellow.

Dr. Starks has published numerous research studies and has lectured at ophthalmology conferences across the country. She is a member of the American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and Women in Ophthalmology.

She is an avid runner, completing three half marathons, and enjoys hiking, yoga, golf and spending time with her husband and children.

Dr. Starks will begin seeing patients in OCB’s Cambridge, Plymouth and Sandwich locations in October 2018.
